Build Journal

Your build journal is the studio’s lab notebook, and it does double duty: it is both your reflective record and your AI-use disclosure. For each cycle, log four things: (1) Hypothesis—what did you believe, and what would change your mind? (2) Build—what did you make, and which prompts, workflows, and tools actually mattered (paste or link the pivotal ones)? (3) Measure—what happened when your work met real people? Numbers and quotes beat adjectives. (4) Learn—what will you do differently next cycle?

Entries can be written or video. Honest accounts of failures earn full credit; sanitized highlight reels don’t. Journals are submitted three times over the semester (see schedule) and graded on specificity, evidence, and growth—not on whether your experiments worked.
