Class 12: September 24, 2026 · ENTR 5500
Workday reminder for September 24, 2026. These instructions come from the September 22 class summary. For current requirements and due dates, use the assignment guidelines and semester schedule.
Entrepreneur-interview project workday
Thursday, September 24 was a group-project workday rather than a formal class meeting. The September 22 summary set out the work to complete.
By the end of the workday:
- Send your entrepreneur specific possible interview dates and times. You needed to make the scheduling request; the entrepreneur did not need to have replied by that deadline.
- Post evidence of that outreach, such as a screenshot, in your team’s Slack channel.
- Share an accessible link to a substantial rough draft of your interview plan in that channel. Include questions, timing, and who will ask what.
Plan an initial conversation of about 30–60 minutes, with a shorter follow-up later if useful. Aim to conduct the initial interview by mid-October. Tailor the questions to what you know and what you still need to learn.
Use the six areas from the preceding summary: the founder’s origin, business model, resources and tradeoffs, reducing risk, founding-team dynamics, and unresolved challenges. The entrepreneur-interview kit collects the current project guidance.
The quiz shown on the older slides was deferred in class. The announced focus for this workday was the interview project, with no additional assignment inferred.
